New Buildings

Design Review

  1. We provide "3rd party" review of engineering designs to identify potential scope-of-work gaps, incomplete or vague control sequences, phasing problems and other delay/cost issues. We work with the design and installation professionals to increase their, and your, success.
  2. We improve your "on time" success by removing problems before construction begins.

Construction Oversight

  1. We conduct job site inspection of construction while in progress and compare to the plans and specifications.
  2. We help resolve problems that arise during construction so that performance, budget and schedule are not compromised.

Commissioning

  1. We provide a "3rd party" complete verification of each HVAC system to assure "as specified" operation in all modes of operation. Complaints and operating costs are reduced and tenant satisfaction is dramatically raised!
  2. We conduct the verification using ASHRAE Guideline 0 and related best practice recommendations so that the HVAC system operation can be compared to the "as new" condition later on.
  3. We provide, or assist in providing, operator training so that the "as new" operation is clearly understood and does not erode over time.

  1. We conduct an initial assessment of your facility in normal use.
  2. We measure the actual air and water flows, power usage and gas consumption with precision instruments. (No "guesstimating".)

  1. We use state-of-the-art energy modeling and design software, giving every calculation a thorough "reality check".
  2. We brainstorm every performance improvement and savings opportunity within your facility.
  3. We calculate the benefits, including installation, operation, maintenance and normal equipment life.
  4. We sit down with you and fully discuss each of those opportunities, making sure you fully understand the advantages, disadvantages, costs and likelihood of success for each opportunity.
  5. Lastly, we discuss with you the projected payback period and what opportunities are available for financing the entire project.
